Grammys 2016- Jewelry risk takers

It's the time again! You know what I'm talking about. The time your Facebook feed is full of Grammy highlights to make sure we all know what happened because honestly, who really watched the Grammys this year? It was in the middle of a Monday! It was on a holiday, so you were either nursing a Valentine's chocolate hangover, stuck in traffic getting home from your romantic weekend get away, or (like me) you were working and didn't even know the Grammy's had started until your Instagram and Facebook started showing all the red carpet looks.

It's also the time to be underwhelmed by the jewelry selection. Although I did notice a few trends and a couple of jewelry risk takers this year. Lets start with the risk takers shall we?

Demi Lovato

SHE KILLED IT! She is my "jewelry best dressed" because she pushed the limit while still staying classic. Her red carpet look was very rock and roll, which is really what one should try and aim for at the Grammys. She is wearing a body chain, with what looks like diamond Gucci links, and a ring on almost every finger.

THEN, when she performed. Can we talk about that giant diamond necklace?!?! Thank you! Its huge and you can see that bad boy from a mile away!

Carrie Underwood

When I saw Carrie my first thought was "wow, that necklace is kinda dated. OH DAMN, just saw that crazy huge yellow diamond!" I really love the classic style of this Ruby and Diamond necklace, and I'm glad its making a come back. She rocked it!

Rings Rings RINGS!

The trend of wearing every ring you own, once taboo, now apparently is all the rage! I have been seeing this a lot on a lot of red carpets, and I think its a trend that the average Jane could pull off. Here are a few artists who did right by this style.

Honorable mention

Taylor Swift, I don't know why you cut your hair, maybe to show off that bomb mix color sapphire choker? If so, good decision.
